WASHINGTON - U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) led an effort to ensure U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents receive the overtime pay they were promised.  

In the FY24 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Congress authorized much needed overtime pay for Border Patrol agents. Despite these funds being appropriated, reports from agents cited confusion around the timing of these payments.

COCHISE COUNTY, AZ - U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) announced that the City of Benson Fire Department (BFD) and neighboring fire agencies in Cochise County were selected to receive $668,571 in federal funding under the Assistance to Firefighters grant program. This funding was awarded August 16, 2024.

WASHINGTON - Amid Arizona’s affordable housing shortage, U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), a member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, introduced a new bipartisan effort to fast-track construction of affordable housing by cutting red tape for developers and encouraging more public-private partnerships in the industry. Congressman Wiley Nickel (D-NC-13) joined Ciscomani in introducing the effort.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), a member of the House Appropriations Committee, celebrated the House passage of the FY2025 appropriations package for Interior and Environment. This includes $8 million that Ciscomani provisionally secured for water resources and infrastructure in Arizona’s 6th District. The Interior and Environment package is the fifth FY25 appropriations bill to pass the U.S. House of Representatives thus far.
