Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani is part of a bipartisan group of lawmakers who want to make it easier for homeowners to get residential solar project permits.
Representatives Susie Lee (NV-03), Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), Paul Tonko (NY-20), and Mike Lawler (NY-17) have introduced the Streamlining Home Installation of New Energies (SHINE) Act, which would make local permitting for residential solar and other home energy systems better, cheaper, and faster.
