Congressman Juan Ciscomani's Citizen Advisory Council met for the first time Thursday to discuss their mission over the next two years: delivering results for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District. The 40-member council - comprised of Republicans, Democrats and Independents from the district’s five counties - was established by the congressman following his swearing in on January 7.

Congressman Juan Ciscomani today announced the formation of a diverse group of community leaders who will serve as a sounding board as he represents Arizona’s 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Congressman Ciscomani's 40-member Citizens Advisory Council is composed of men and women from across southeastern Arizona and includes Republicans, Democrats and Independents from both the private and public sectors.

Congressman Juan Ciscomani was selected by the House Steering Committee today to serve on the influential House Appropriations Committee in the 118th Congress. The appointment will give Arizona’s 6th congressional district a valuable voice on issues regarding government funding.
