Rep. Ciscomani’s Statement on President Trump’s State of the Union Address

February 25, 2026

‘The American people are resilient, determined, and full of hope’

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Juan Ciscomani attended this year’s State of the Union in Washington. Ciscomani was joined by Ben Menges, fifth generation cattle rancher from Safford, Arizona.

Following President Trump’s address, Congressman Ciscomani released this statement last night:

"Great message tonight by President Trump. He told the story of the State of our Union through the people of our nation. From honoring heroes who put their lives on the line for others, to highlighting the grieving family members of those we lost to violent crimes.

"The President also talked about the many accomplishments and progress we have made in just one year coming off the last administration’s highest inflation and worst border crisis this century. Our border is secure, hard working Americans are keeping more of what they earned, and our military is stronger than ever. We still have more work to do and he also laid out a clear vision on how to keep advancing.

"The American people are resilient, determined, and full of hope. Because of them, our Union is strong — and only getting stronger and I am committed to keep working and fighting for AZ06."
