Ciscomani Returns over $4.5 Million to Constituents in AZ-06
WASHINGTON - U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) proudly announced that his office has returned over $4.5 million to constituents of Arizona's 6th District through casework, including $1.5 million for veterans.
This was money that was owed to constituents but was stuck in the bureaucracy of a federal agency. Congressman Ciscomani and his team work tirelessly to help constituents cut through red-tape to access the money, refunds, and benefits they are entitled to, from federal agencies like the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Internal Revenue Service, Social Security, and more.
“Navigating federal agencies can be complicated, confusing, time-consuming, and frustrating,” said Ciscomani. “Far too often, constituents have difficulty accessing the payments, benefits, and refunds they rightfully deserve. From my first day in office, my team and have been committed to advocating on your behalf and helping our constituents navigate complicated bureaucratic red tape. I am so proud to announce that, through these efforts, we have returned over $4.5 million to the constituents of Arizona’s 6th district, including $1.5 million directly to our veterans. It is an honor and privilege to serve you.”
“When I applied for veteran’s benefits, I ran into an issue about repayment for funds I received over 50 years ago related to my discharge,” said Robert Armstrong, veteran from Arizona’s 6th district. “After finding my discharge papers, I called Mr. Ciscomani’s office to try and resolve this issue. His team worked tirelessly, and thanks to their efforts, I received my deposit from the VA on August 6th. I am very grateful for the interest and dedication shown by Mr. Ciscomani’s office, their support made all the difference.”

Returning taxpayer dollars back to Arizona’s 6th District has always been a top priority for Congressman Ciscomani. As the only member from Arizona to serve on the House Appropriations Committee, Congressman Ciscomani recently announced he preliminarily secured $34 million in federal funding for water, housing, public safety, infrastructure, and community development projects. And in FY 2024, Congressman Ciscomani secured $26 million for 13 projects across all five counties in the district. Should the funds for FY25 be signed into law, he will have secured $60 million for Arizona's 6th district during his freshman term in Congress.
