Ciscomani Now Accepting Applications for Military Service Academy Nominations

Tucson, AZ - U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani is now accepting applications for military service academy nominations for the class of 2031. If you know a current senior in high school considering an application to one of our nation’s prestigious military service academies, now is the time to contact the congressman’s office.
In order to receive an appointment to a military service academy (United States Military Academy at Westpoint, United States Naval Academy, United States Merchant Marine Academy, and the United States Air Force Academy) students must receive a nomination from their U.S. Representative or one of their two U.S. Senators.
"One of my favorite parts of the job is connecting with students across Arizona’s 6th District who feel called to serve our nation through military service academy nominations," said Rep. Ciscomani. "Throughout my time in office, I have seen dozens of bright and driven young men and women apply for a nomination. Although each of them has had a unique story, they all have one thing in common: wanting to serve. It is a distinct honor to nominate students across the district who represent the values of honor, integrity, and service, and I look forward to the many outstanding students who will apply for a nomination this year."
Congressman Ciscomani’s office and Arizona’s 6th Congressional District has a strong history of students applying for and receiving nominations and appointments. In the three years the congressman has been honored to provide nominations to students, his office has had 46 appointments to military service academies.

Additionally, the congressman is proud to host an Academy Day each year, typically in April, for younger high school students interested in military service academies. The event brings together representatives from each of the academies, as well as the University of Arizona ROTC to present information on their programs and the opportunities available. Academy Day is a great way for students and parents to meet the liaison officers in person and get answers to their questions from experts.
