Ciscomani to Lead Freshman Republican Colleagues to the U.S. - Mexico Border

WASHINGTON, D.C. - From Thursday, March 6 to Saturday March 8, 2025, U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) will lead 9 Republican first-term Members of Congress on a Congressional delegation to the southern border to meet with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Defense (DOD) officials and local stakeholders.
In order to better understand the needs of our law enforcement and how Congress can continue to support the critical mission of securing the southern border, the Members will visit the Nogales Port of Entry, the border wall, and other facilities along the Arizona – Mexico Border.
“House Republicans were elected on the promise to secure the southern border, and that is exactly what we will continue to deliver on,” said Rep. Ciscomani. “As Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security, I am immensely proud to lead a group of freshman colleagues to the Arizona-Mexico border, where we will hear from law enforcement on the frontlines, immigration officials, and the business community to get a full scope of the situation on the southwestern border.
