Rep. Ciscomani Accepting Nominations for Spring 2026 Veteran Servant Leader Awards

July 28, 2026

'I look forward to our upcoming Veteran Servant Leader Awards next month and the many veterans we will be able to recognize'

Tucson, AZ - U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani is proud to announce that his office is now accepting nominations for the upcoming Veteran Servant Leader Awards this August. From day one in office, Rep. Ciscomani has been a champion of veterans. Since taking office in 2023, Rep. Ciscomani has introduced 18 pieces of veterans-focused legislation, 7 of which have passed the House, with one becoming law. Four of these have passed the House in the 119th Congress alone.

As Arizona's Sixth Congressional District is home to nearly 80,000 veterans, Rep. Ciscomani makes support and care for these heroes a top priority through the legislation he brings forth and his work on the House Veterans' Affairs Committee.

In an effort to give back to the brave men and women who have worn the uniform, Rep. Ciscomani hosts Veteran Servant Leader Awards to honor AZ-06 veterans who have continued to serve their communities after their time spent serving in our armed forces. Most recently, rep. Ciscomani hosted his fourth Veteran Servant Leader Awards in May 2026. Through these four events, Rep. Ciscomani has been able to award more than 100 veterans and is looking forward honoring more during the fifth event which will be held in Sierra Vista this August.

"It is such an honor to recognize the work of local veterans during each of our Veteran Servant Leader Awards," said Rep. Ciscomani. "These incredible men and women first served our nation and now continue to serve their communities through efforts including volunteer work and involvement in local law enforcement. They have spent their lives giving to others and these events allow my office and I to thank them for that. I look forward to our upcoming Veteran Servant Leader Awards next month and the many veterans we will be able to recognize."

If you know a veteran from Cochise, Graham, or Greenlee County who is dedicated to giving back to their community and embodies the values of duty, service, and commitment that are at the core of our military, you are invited to nominate them for Rep. Ciscomani’s fifth Veteran Servant Leader Awards!

Nominations will be accepted through Saturday, August 15, 2026.
