ICYMI: Ciscomani Celebrates 100 Years of Service from Casa Grande Rotary Club

Casa Grande, AZ - Representative Juan Ciscomani joined the Casa Grande community for the 5th Annual Casa Grande Oktoberfest to celebrate a century of service from the Casa Grande Rotary Club and recognize the organization’s lasting impact on the community.
"One hundred years of service is an incredible milestone, and it is a testament to the people who have dedicated their time and energy to making Casa Grande stronger through the Rotary Club," said Representative Ciscomani. "The Casa Grande Rotary Club has spent a century bringing people together, serving local families, and investing in the future of our local community. I’m proud to have celebrated this milestone alongside leaders of the Rotary Club and the Casa Grande community, presenting them with a congressional certificate, and I look forward to seeing the impact of their service continue for generations to come."
Community leaders joined Ciscomani for the celebration, bringing together families and residents for an evening that showcased Casa Grande’s vibrant community, rich culture, and German heritage.
"The Casa Grande Rotary Club has been an incredible part of our community for 100 years, and this milestone is a testament to the countless volunteers and leaders who have given their time to make Casa Grande a better place," said Casa Grande City Council Member Matt Herman. "It was an honor to celebrate this incredible milestone alongside Congressman Ciscomani and our community at Oktoberfest, and to recognize the lasting impact the Rotary Club continues to make across Casa Grande."
"I was thrilled to honor the Casa Grande Rotary and be part of their 100th anniversary celebration with Congressman Ciscomani," said Pinal County Supervisor Stephen Q. Miller. "Organizations like the Rotary are vital to communities across the state and the Congressman's support helps this organization continue its important work."
This year’s celebration also marked a special milestone for the Casa Grande Rotary Club, which has supported local families for the past 100 years and fostered growth and meaningful improvements through education, healthcare, youth programs, and volunteerism in the local community.
Casa Grande Rotary Club President Zoe Cooper also highlighted the event.
"Celebrating 100 years of the Rotary Club of Casa Grande was a significant milestone for our organization, and we were grateful to have Rep. Ciscomani with us at Casa Grande Oktoberfest to help celebrate. He has consistently supported Rotary, making time to attend our meetings and community events whenever he can. His willingness to engage with our members and support the causes we care about is greatly appreciated. We are grateful for his continued partnership and commitment to service, youth and volunteerism," said President Zoe Cooper.
As Arizona’s sole member of the House Appropriations Committee, Ciscomani has worked to deliver federal investments that support Casa Grande’s continued growth and strengthen the community. In previous years, he helped secure:
- $1 million for the Casa Grande Elementary School District Community Center Revitalization Project, which will repurpose an existing school building into a community center providing critical support and services to students and families.
- $1.8 million for affordable workforce housing through the Casa Grande Union High School District, supporting the construction of affordable teacher housing to help attract and support new educators.
- $3.79 million for the City of Casa Grande’s Thornton Road Widening Project to widen Thornton Road and improve traffic flow.
This year, Ciscomani also worked to secure $2.73 million in federal funding for the Burris Road–Peters Road to Highway 84 project, which will provide an essential north-south connection and enhance transportation infrastructure in Casa Grande. From celebrating a century of service to investing in the community’s future, Ciscomani remains committed to collaborating with local leaders, organizations, and residents to deliver meaningful results for Casa Grande that will last for generations to come.
