Congressman Ciscomani Announces 2023 Service Academy Day

High school students interested in learning more about U.S. military service academies are encouraged to attend.
Washington – U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) is hosting his first informational Service Academy Day for high school students interested in attending one of the United States’ military service academies.
“As a member of Congress, I have the honor of nominating students from Arizona’s Sixth District to our esteemed military academies,” said Congressman Ciscomani. “There is no higher calling than serving one’s country, and it is inspiring to see so many young Arizonans interested in pursuing a career in our armed services career. I look forward to getting to know all of these impressive candidates during the nomination process.”
Prospective applicants to West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy are invited to learn more about the application and congressional nomination processes. More information can be found below or online here.

In order to attend four out of the five service academies, students need a nomination from their senator, representative or the Vice President. During Service Academy Day, students and parents will have the opportunity to hear from academy admissions liaisons and members of Congressman Ciscomani’s staff about the nominating process and application process.
