Ciscomani Issues Statement on House Passage of the American Relief Act
December 20, 2024
WASHINGTON - U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), a member of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement after the passage of H.R. 10545, the American Relief Act, 2025 to keep the government open, provide relief for Americans devastated by natural disasters, and direct much-needed support to our farmers:
“Continuing Resolutions are never ideal,” said Ciscomani. “While no bill is perfect, the American Relief Act takes care of our farmers, provides relief for Americans devastated by recent natural disasters, and makes sure our border patrol agents, military service members, and veterans are taken care of. That being said, this week is a strong reminder that the budget process in Washington is broken. I look forward to working with President Trump and Republican majorities in both chambers of Congress to reform this process.”
