Ciscomani Again Recognized Among Most Bipartisan and Effective Members of Congress, Highlights Record of Results for Arizona

Tucson, AZ - U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani has once again been recognized as one of the most bipartisan and effective members of Congress, earning the highest Bridge Score among Arizona’s congressional delegation. Congressman Ciscomani continues to deliver results for Arizonans on critical issues including water, veterans, public safety, national security, and economic development.

"My focus from day one has been to deliver common-sense, lasting results for my constituents in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District," Ciscomani said. "That means working with anyone willing to find solutions, regardless of party. From preserving our water to protecting public lands and advocating for veterans, my job is to get things done. I'm proud of my record of successfully bringing federal funds to the communities I represent - funds to support our first responders in Huachuca City and Oro Valley, as well as to expand workforce training and improve our roads. These are real wins that will directly improve the quality of life in southeastern Arizona."

This recognition builds on a proven record. During his first term, the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking named Ciscomani the most effective member of Arizona’s congressional delegation and the 15th most effective member of the U.S. House in the 118th Congress. In the 119th Congress, he earned an "A" grade and a Bridge Score of 97.5 out of 100 from Bridge Grades, placing him among the highest-rated members of the U.S. House. Bridge Grades evaluates members using third-party data focused on bipartisan legislation.

In the 119th Congress, 32 substantive bills were introduced, with nine passing the U.S. House of Representatives, according to the Center for Effective Lawmaking. Legislative efforts have focused on policies that uniquely impact southern Arizona, put veterans first, and address growing concerns about water security.

Among Congressman Ciscomani's key accomplishments, the Chiricahua National Park Act(H.R. 6380) passed the House unanimously by voice vote and advanced through the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. This legislation would designate Chiricahua National Monument as a national park, preserving one of Southern Arizona’s most treasured landscapes while helping drive tourism and economic opportunity in rural Arizona.

"Washington is full of career politicians who talk a good game about problems but go radio silent when it comes to finding real solutions," said Ciscomani. "The hardworking people I represent deserve leaders who are willing to work with anyone, roll up their sleeves and do what’s necessary to score tangible wins."

Water security remains a central priority. The bipartisan Colorado River Caucus was launched with Rep. Joe Neguse to bring together members from all seven Colorado River Basin states. Bipartisan legislation has advanced to improve federal water monitoring, expand water recycling, and strengthen watershed management, while ensuring Arizona’s fair share of the Colorado River. The WATER Data Improvement Act (H.R. 5770) passed both chambers and was signed into law in 2024. This work has continued during the 119th Congress, with increased support for federal investments in Western water conservation and ongoing collaboration with local, state, and federal stakeholders to address Southern Arizona’s long-term water challenges.

In addition to legislative accomplishments, the congressman is set to secure $42.7 million for 20 federal investments in all five counties of Arizona’s 6th Congressional District: Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, and Pinal.
